Did You Know?
"Unexplainable" system crashes or program failures are frequently due to an unreported disk error. Run your "Scandisk" or "Disk Doctor" utility often. It may just be the cure.
Many PC's (fast 486 and Pentiums, too) are manufactured with inferior communications ports which use the 8250 UART (Universal Asynchronous Receiver-Transmitter) chip. They are unable to keep up with high-speed modems and ISDN Terminal Adapters. The result is data loss at speeds greater than 9,600 bits per second. When data loss occurs, you may experience DNS lookup errors, failed downloads or hang-ups. Make certain any computer you purchase is equipped with 16550A UARTs.

Netscape Navigator 3.0 is now released. Click here to get to Download Software page, then read the download information. Choose Download Netscape Navigator. Then answer the questions in their download form and pick one of their many download sites.
Notes about Netscape:
Create a directory named DOWNLOAD and copy the downloaded files into this directory.
The Netscape file that you download is a trial version only. Be sure to read the License information.
Go to the DOWNLOAD directory and double-click the file name that you downloaded. This will install the program.
When Netscape is installed in the permanent directory, you can delete all the file in the DOWNLOAD directory.

You can safely run it from any directory.
